Exterior - Of home

Option 1 -

Home will be soft washed using a mild bleach, tsp and dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm any landscaping.

All clapboards on home will be scraped and sanded using electric orbital sanders to remove as much loose flaking paint as possible.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

Will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Flat Duration paint to all clapboards.

All trim on home will be prepped as needed.

Open joints, gaps and seams will be caulked.

Bare areas spot primed.

Will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint to all trim, including under front and back soffits of home.

**While scraping and painting will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, ground, etc. to contain as many flakes and protect from paint spatter.

**While painting will remove downspouts, paint behind them and re-install upon completion.

**Shingles on home will be soft washed and cleaned only and will not be stained or painted.

Front door jam will be primed and painted.

2 lights by front door will be taken down to paint blocks behind them and re-installed upon completion. If you wish to purchase 2 new lights and wiring the same we will install them for you, other wise we will re-install original lights back up.

**Please note - Clapboards on home were originally stained and eventually painted with no primer causing paint failure. Even with scraping and sanding with electric sanders we won't be able to remove it all and you may have peeling problems at some point in the future. So for this reason we are unable to guarantee the paint on the clapboards.

Labor and Materials: $9,800

Option 2 -

Bulkhead on back of house will be painted with a Rustoleum paint in a standard slate gray color.

Labor and Materials: $200

Option 3 -

Shutters on front of home will be removed while painting.

If you would like them painted it will be an additional cost of $225

If you don't wish to do this option we will just re-install as is.

A copy of our Workman’s Compensation and Liability Insurance is available upon request.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
