Exterior- Scope of work to include washing and staining home, and painting trim.
Soft Wash
Complete exterior of home will be soft washed using a mild bleach, TSP, and Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs.
Siding
All siding on home to include clapboards and shingles, will be sanded with a quick pass of an electric random orbital sander to knock off dead wood fibers.
Shingles and clapboards will be stained with 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes siding stain in the same color and product that was previously used.
Trim
Trim on home will be prepped as needed.
Flaking areas will be sanded to ensure good paint adhesion.
Any bare areas will be spot primed.
All open joints, gaps, and seams will be caulked.
We will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams satin Duration paint in the same color that was previously used.
While painting, we will remove downspouts so we can paint/ stain behind them, and reinstall them upon completion.
Decks- front and back
Decks will be washed, sanded, and stained 1 coat of Sherwin Williams deck stain in the same color that was previously used.
Labor and Materials: $8,250
Additional option- Replacing rotted woodwork
We noticed several rotted pieces at the ends of the rakes and around the bottom of the staircase.
We can remove these rotted areas and replace them with PVC so they do not rot again.
Labor and Materials: $300
While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, plantings, etc. to prevent paint spatter.
All extra paints will be left for future touchups.
