Estimate

Exterior- Scope of work to include painting of front clapboards and trim on house

Soft wash

Front of house will be soft washed using a mild bleach, TSP, and Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. Because we are not painting the shingles on the side of house, we will not be soft washing them.

Trim

Trim areas on sides and back of house will be washed by hand as needed to remove dirt and mildew.

Once thoroughly dry, all trim on home will be scraped and sanded as needed.

All open joints, gaps, and seams will be caulked.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

We will apply 2 complete coats of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint to all trim.

We noticed several rotted areas. We will replace rot at bottom of corner boards, bottom of garage door casings, and bottom of rake boards along roof. These areas will be replaced with PVC composite so they do not rot again.

While painting we will remove downspouts so we can paint behind them, then reinstall upon completion.

Clapboards

We will need to remove shutters.

Clapboards will be prepped and painted 2 coats of white in Sherwin Williams Flat Duration paint.

Upon completion we will rehang shutters.

This quote does not include painting shutters and it will be listed in a separate option below.

While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, etc. to prevent paint spatter.

Labor and Materials: $7,500

Additional option- Shutters

While we are on site, if you would like the shutters primed and painted it would be an additional $350

Please note, vinyl windows and garage doors are maintainence free and will not be painted.

A copy of our Workman’s Compensation and Liability Insurance is available upon request.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
