Exterior painting of house and shed

Clapboards on front of house

Clapboards will be prepped as needed.

Loose flaking paint will be sanded.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

All open joints, gaps, and seams will be caulked.

We will apply 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Flat Duration premium paint in the same gray color as existing.

Trim on home

Trim on home will be prepped as needed.

Loose flaking paint will be sanded.

All open joints, gaps, and seams will be caulked, particularly around doors and windows.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

We will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration premium paint.

While painting we will remove downspouts so we can paint behind them and reinstall upon completion.

Gutters will be cleaned free of charge.

We noticed 2 pieces of rot and this estimate will include replacing those with a PVC product so it will not rot again.

Shutters on home will be removed, painted, and reinstalled upon completion.

Bulkhead will be thoroughly sanded and painted with a Rustoleum product.

Deck on front and side of house will be thoroughly sanded, bare areas spot primed, and 1 complete coat of deck paint applied in the same color.

Shed

All clapboards on shed are raw wood and they will need to be completely primed with Sherwin Williams oil based primer and top coated with Sherwin Williams Flat Duration paint (same product as used on house)

Shutters on shed will be removed and painted, then reinstalled upon completion.

Trim on shed will be primed with an oil based primer and painted with Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint to match house.

Labor and Materials: $10,500

While painting we will take precautions to cover shrubbery, landscaping, etc. to prevent paint spatter.

A copy of our Workman’s Compensation and Liability Insurance is available upon request.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
