Exterior Painting - Exterior of 2 retail buildings

Option 1 - Front of both buildings

Paint is severely peeling, we will need to scrape and sand as needed.

Open joints, gaps and seams will be caulked.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

Will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint to all trim, fascia, soffits, etc. (everything currently white). Also includes painting trim on sides and back of building.

We noticed there are several soffits rotted that we will replace using Asek composite trim boards as well as various other loose missing moldings, and some that appear to be falling down.

Labor and Materials: $23,400

Option 2 - Cinder blocks on buildings

One building has blocks on both ends and back.

The other building has blocks on only one end and back.

Blocks will be power washed to remove mildew.

Will prep as needed.

Will paint one coat of same color for a uniform finish. (Right now many different colors touched up over the years).

Labor and Materials: $11,350

**There are several piles of wood against the building that you will need to have moved away.

To do both options, total is: $34,750

**Will protect walkways, etc. with drop cloths to prevent paint spatter and to control loose flaking paint flakes. Upon completion daily area will be blown off to remove paint flakes from front of building.

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
