Estimate

Complete Exterior painting of home

House will be soft washed using a mild bleach, TSP, Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs.

Clapboards-

Clapboards and trim on house will be prepped by sanding loose flaking paint. More extreme flaking areas will be sanded with electric orbital sanders.

All bare areas will be spot primed.

We will apply 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Flat Duration premium paint.

Trim-

After thoroughly prepping and sanding as needed, we will spot prime bare areas and caulk open joints, gaps and seams particularly around windows.

We will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration premium paint.

While painting, downspouts will be removed so we can paint behind them and reinstall upon completion.

Gutters will be cleaned free of charge.

Doors will be painted.

All colors to remain the same.

We realize there are a couple areas on the corner boards as well as around octagon window that are rotted and we will replace them with PVC composite. We will replace approximately 6-8 pieces of rotted wood.

Labor and Materials: $10,225

While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, etc. to prevent paint spatter.

When applying paint we will use a roll and back brush procedure that will work the paint into the wood grain, creating a much longer lasting finish than spraying.

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
