Exterior Painting - Scope of work to include painting of all clapboard siding, trim, wood windows and fence above stone wall

Peeling areas on home will be sanded as needed to get to a sound surface and ensure good paint adhesion.

Any areas that have mildew will be handwashed using a mild bleach and dawn dish detergent mixture.

Clapboards on home will be painted 2 coats in your choice of color in Sherwin Williams Flat Duration paint.

Exterior trim will be sanded as needed.

All open joints, gaps and seams will be caulked to seal out moisture.

Will apply 2 complete coats of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint.

Wood windows on house will be prepped as needed and will apply 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint.

Fence above stone wall will have 2 coats of Satin Duration paint applied.

We realize there will be a color change and plan to put 2 coats on body and trim.

The siding on home will be rolled and back brushed, not sprayed for a longer lasting job.

Will bring any necessary ladders, roof hooks, etc. needed to get to the high points on home.

Labor and Materials: $19,500

Will take precautions to cover walkways, roofs, etc. to protect from paint spatter.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
