Estimate

Exterior- Complete exterior painting of home

House will be softwashed using a mild bleach, TSP, Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs.

All trim and siding on home will be scraped and sanded as needed to remove as much flaking paint as possible.

All open joints, gaps and seams will be caulked.

We will apply 2 complete coats of Sherwin Williams Flat Duration premium paint to all clapboards for maximum protection.

Bare areas will be spot primed and we will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration premium paint to all trim.

Downspouts will be removed, painted behind, and reinstalled upon completion.

Gutters will be cleaned free of charge.

Front door and garage doors will be painted your choice of color.

We will replace approximately 6-8 pieces of rotted clapboard and approximately 2 pieces of rotted trim board- one being up top behind gutter. Depending how severe the rot is we may need to remove the gutter to obtain access to it and depending on how the gutter was originally installed it may be damaged while removing it. If it is damaged you will need to purchase a new gutter for one section out back.

Bulkhead will be sanded, primed with a rust inhibitor primer, and painted to match the siding color.

Shutters will be removed while painting and reinstalled upon completion.

Labor and Materials: $9,500

Additional Options:

Shutters-

If you would like the shutters painted, we will prime with a bonding primer and topcoat with 1 coat of black satin paint.

Labor and Materials: $450

Dental-

All dental molding around complete house will be removed and we will install new 1x4 Azek molding around complete home and garage.

Older molding will be removed and disposed of.

New molding will be purchased and installed.

Labor and Materials: $3,400

Total for all options: $13,350

Upon completion we will leave any leftover paint for future touchups.

While painting we will take precautions to use drop cloths to contain as much flaking paint as possible and to prevent paint spatter.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
