Estimate

Exterior Painting -

Complete exterior will be soft washed using a mild bleach, tsp & dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew and will not hurt landscaping.

Trim on house will be scraped and sanded as needed to ensure good paint adhesion.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

Open joints, gaps and seams will be caulked.

Will apply 1 complete topcoat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration Premium paint to all trim.

Front clapboards on house will be sanded thoroughly using electric random orbital sanders to remove as much loose flaking paint as possible.

All clapboards on front of house will be primed and top coated with 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Flat Duration Premium house paint.

Shingles on home after thoroughly cleaned will be stained with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes latex acrylic siding stain color to be light gray.

Will include replacing approximately 10-12 pieces of rot on various areas around house, trim boards, clapboards, shingles above deck, etc.

Labor and Materials: $14,750

Additional Option - Rear deck

Deck will be sanded using electric random orbital sanders.

Paint 1 coat of Porch and Floor paint for decks.

Rusty nails will be addressed with a Rust Inhibiter Primer.

Labor and Materials: $1,375

**Note - We do not recommend painting this deck. Paint job will most likely only last 2 years and highly recommend replacing it with Trex decking.

Also because of the climate we live in we are unable to guarantee wooden decks and will not be held responsible. It is a horizontal surface that water sits on repeatedly and no matter how much preparation we do there can still be flaking and peeling caused from it. The constant sun, rain and snow causes wear and tear on a flat surface that we have no control over.

Upon completion we will leave any extra paints for future touchups. While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, shrubbery etc. to protect from paint spatter.

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
