Estimate

Exterior painting

Complete exterior of home will be soft washed with a mild bleach, TSP, and Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs.

Shutters will be removed, painted, and reinstalled upon completion.

All shingles and clapboard siding will be prepped as needed.

Loose flaking paint will be sanded to ensure good stain adhesion.

Bare areas will be spot primed and we will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes siding stain to all siding.

Downspouts will be removed, painted behind, and reinstalled upon completion.

Gutters will be cleaned free of charge.

This estimate will also include painting exterior doors your choice of color.

Trim

Trim on home will be prepped by scraping and sanding as needed.

All open joints, gaps, and seams will be caulked, particularly around doors and windows.

Bare areas will be spot primed and we will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint.

Rot replacement

On the trim we noticed approximately 4-5 pieces of rotted wood that we will replace with PVC so it will not rot again.

In back of home we noticed approximately 15 shingles that are rotted and we will replace them.

Labor and Materials: $6,500

**Please note this does not include deck. If you would like deck washed, sanded, and 1 coat of solid deck stain applied, it would be an additional $900

While painting we will take precautions to cover walkways, shrubbery, etc to prevent paint spatter.

Large shrubbery that is touching the house we will need to cut back a little bit to provide access.

A copy of our Workman’s Compensation and Liability Insurance is available upon request.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
