Estimate

Complete exterior painting of house

Soft wash

House will be soft washed using a mild bleach, TSP, and Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs.

Shingles and trim on home appear to be peeling in various areas. We will prep by sanding home with electric orbital sanders to remove as much loose flaking paint as possible.

Trim

After trim is thoroughly sanded, we will caulk all open joints, gaps, and seams.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

We will apply 2 complete coats of Sherwin Williams satin Duration premium paint.

Shingles

After shingle siding is thoroughly sanded, we will apply 2 complete coats of Sherwin Williams latex solid Woodscapes siding stain in either same color as existing or your choice of color.

Front steps on home will be thoroughly sanded, and will have 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Superdeck applied.

We realize larger back porch is Trex and will only be washed- not stained, however the white trim around it will be prepped and painted 2 coats of white.

Railings and spindles that are currently clear will be washed and clear coated to preserve or stained your choice of color.

We noticed approximately 4-5 pieces of rotted wood on the house. Our estimate will include replacing these.

Bulkhead in back of home will be sanded and painted with 2 coats of Rustoleum to match the shingle color.

While painting we will remove downspouts so we can paint behind them, and reinstall upon completion.

Gutters will be cleaned free of charge.

Soffit boards around house that are currently dark brown will be washed and clear coated for protection.

Labor and Materials: $12,500

Upon completion we will leave all extra paints for future touchups.

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
