Exterior- Painting of house, barn and large garage

Option 1

All 3 properties will be soft washed using a mild bleach, TSP and Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs. We will not be washing the roof as we do not want to create and roof leaks or issues.

All trim will be prepped as needed by scraping and sanding.

All open joints, gaps and seams particularly around window will be caulked.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

We will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration premium paint.

While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways etc. to contain as much flaking paint and paint spatter as possible.

We will replace approximately 8-10 pieces of rotted wood however this does not include the two sides of the large garage- that will be listed separately.

Rotted wood will be removed and repaired before the painting process.

Labor and Materials for Option 1: $21,500

Option 2- 2 sides of garage where the trim is completely rotted

We will remove fascia, soffit and below freeze board from both front and back sides of garage and replace with all new PVC composite trim.

While replacing the rot on fascia, soffit and freeze boards we will need to remove the gutter. Gutter will most likely be ruined and you will need to order a new piece for the front and back. That is not included in this price.

Once the trim is installed we will putty all nail heads, caulk open joints gaps and seams, and paint it with 100% Acrylic Duration paint to match existing.

Upon completion we will remove all debris.

Labor and Materials for Option 2: $4,000

Total for All Options: $25,500

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
