Estimate

Exterior Painting:

Complete exterior of home will be soft washed to remove dirt and mildew using a mild bleach, Tsp & Dawn dish detergent mixture to kill mildew and clean home. *Please note we will not be washing roof.

Side and back of house where sun has drawn nails out, will remove nails where ever possible, re-nail and add additional larger ring and shank nails to clapboards to help prevent any future nails from popping out.

All clapboards on house will be painted 1 coat with Sherwin Williams Flat paint for maximum protection.

Trim on house will be prepped as needed.

Open joints and gaps in trim will be caulked prior to painting.

Bare areas will be spot primed.

Will apply 1 complete coat of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint to all trim.

Rotted area above front porch and under gutter will be repaired with Bondo as discussed.

Porch columns, railings, and kicks going up stairs will be prepped and painted.

Large front deck will be washed, lightly sanded and 1 coat of Mahogany Australian Timber Oil applied.

Labor and Materials: $10,500

**Note:

While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, shrubbery etc. to protect from paint spatter.

Because of the climate we live in we are unable to guarantee wooden decks and will not be held responsible. It is a horizontal surface that water sits on repeatedly and no matter how much preparation we do there can still be flaking and peeling caused from it. The constant sun, rain and snow causes wear and tear on a flat surface that we have no control over.

Upon completion we will leave any extra paints for future touchups.

WE PROPOSE: hereby to furnish materials and labor-complete accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of: $

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
