Exterior Painting of Home

Option 1- Complete home soft wash- Front, sides, and back of home.

House will be soft washed using a mild bleach, TSP, and Dawn dish detergent mixture to remove dirt and mildew. This will not harm plants or shrubs.

Labor and Materials: $700

Option 2

Front clapboards on home

Front clapboards are red cedar clapboards and they will need oil based primer prior to painting to prevent bleed through, so they will be primed with Sherwin Williams A100 primer and top coated with Sherwin Williams flat duration paint.

Trim

All trim on home (front, back, and 2 sides) will be scraped and sanded as needed.

All open joints, gaps, and seams will be caulked.

We will apply 2 complete coats of Sherwin Williams Satin Duration paint.

While painting we will remove downspouts so we can paint behind them, then reinstall upon completion.

Labor and Materials: $6,500

Deck

Deck on side and back of home will be washed, sanded and stained with the same color using a similar product

Labor and Materials: $1,500

Total for All Options: $8,700

While painting we will take precautions to cover roofs, walkways, etc. to prevent paint spatter.

Upon completion we will leave all leftover paints for future touchups.

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. Our workers are fully covered by Workers Compensation insurance.

Acceptance Of Proposal The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Note: This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
