We recently had the pleasure of having Nelson Painting paint our home. We are very pleased with how the house looks and our experience with Nelson Painting. First, contact was made via e mail and a response was quickly… forthcoming. Marc Nelson scheduled a site visit and walked the property with us and noted the work we were looking to have completed. He said he would get back to me with a quote no later than Friday afternoon and it was in my hands late Thursday. Straight forward outline of the work to be done and a fair price. Marc said he'd be able to finish up the work well before some out of town guests were scheduled to visit us. His crew prepared the house and painted/stained as quoted. There were a number of recommendations on stain type (solid vs. semi solid) and we got exactly what we agreed on. The Nelson Painting crew were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Hard working folks who take obvious pride in their work. We were fortunate to get Nelson Painting as a recommendation from a woman who is married to a building contractor. We got 4 quotes from various painting companies in the area. We ultimately decided to hire Nelson Painting not because of price, but because of procedure. After meticulous prep work, including carpentry and trim work,… they applied the paint with traditional brushes, not sprayers, to work the paint into all the crevices of wood siding....in other words, the RIGHT way!! The work crew was very neat, courteous and friendly, and they made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the job. We were so happy, we had them repaint all the decks and stairs at a fair upcharge.
